As a consultant, coach, and conference speaker, Professor Nirmalya Kumar has worked with more than 50 Fortune 500 companies in 60 different countries. He has served on several boards of directors. As member of the Group Executive Council, Tata Sons, he is currently responsible for strategy of the 100+ billion dollar group.
Professor Kumar has published many articles in the Journal of Marketing Research and the Harvard Business Review. He has also written seven books, including Marketing as Strategy and India’s Global Powerhouses. His latest book, Brand Breakout, was published in June 2013. His publications have received over 12,000 Google citations.
