Wilder trained as an actor at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and earned an M.A. in stage directing from Northwestern University MANY years ago. He subsequently worked for 20 years as an actor and theatre director in New York, appearing in productions at the Ensemble Studio Theatre and Provincetown Theatre in Greenwich Village, plus walk on roles in iconic films such as Desperately Seeking Susan and Hannah and Her Sisters. Most recently he wrote and performed in a one-man show, Stealing Buckingham Palace, at the Prague Fringe Festival.
Currently he lives in London.
