Hier sind Sie richtig is a fantastic end to Die Kömodie’s strong 2017 season. Each role is delightfully cast, tempting caricature without falling into the trap of being overdone. The balance of physical comedy, word play, and directed chaos brings old school situational comedy to the stage.
Georgette (Christiane Rücker), an aging (though fabulous) landlady lives in her home with her housemaid, Berthe (Birthe Wolter) and her two tenants, painter Jacqueline (Susanne Eisenkolb) and out of work piano teacher Janine (Mona Perfler). Though tensions run high, they all have one thing in common: they need a MAN. Jacquline needs a male model to pose as Spartacus for an art competition, Janine desperately needs a student, Berthe wants love, and Georgette just wants one peaceful tenant to rent the whole place. To find a man to fit their needs, each woman places an ad in the newspaper. The only problem is, none of the women know the other women are also advertising. Confusion abounds when four men answer the call…. but which man is meant for whom?
Sure occasionally the jokes are drawn out or overdone, but these minor instances are forgivable in light of the pure chemistry that exists between the ladies and the men. The interactions in which the women snipe at each other and the men compete amongst themselves definitely stand out over the two-person, opposite gender pairings, thus making the second half of the show – where everyone’s in the house – the peak of the evening. Simple, fun fare which doesn’t take itself too seriously proves to be a great match for a springtime evening.
Georgette (Christiane Rücker), eine alternde (wenngleich wunderschöne) Wohnungsbesitzerin lebt mit Berthe (Birthe Wolter), ihrer Haushälterin und ihren zwei Untermieterinnen, der Malerin Jacqueline (Susanne Eisenkolb) und der aktuell schülerlosen Klavierlehrerin Janine (Mona Perfler) zusammen. Obwohl sich das Zusammenleben schwierig gestaltet, haben alle vier eines gemeinsam: Sie brauchen einen Mann. Jacqueline benötigt zur Fertigstellung eines Bildes von Spartakus für einen Kunstwettbewerb dringend ein männliches Aktmodell, Janine sucht händeringend einen Schüler für Klavierstunden, Berthe ist auf der verzweifelten Suche nach einem Ehemann und Georgette hätte am liebsten einen friedlichen Mieter, der die ganze Wohnung mietet. Um den geeigneten Mann zu finden annonciert jeder der vier Frauen in der Zeitung das jeweilige Gesuch. Das einzige Problem jedoch ist, dass keine der Frauen von den Annoncen der anderen weiß. Als sich plötzlich vier Männer auf die Anzeigen melden ist die Konfusion perfekt. Wer gehört zu wem?!
