After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Helen sang as a soprano soloist at English National Opera, The Linbury Studio (ROH), Garsington Festival Opera, Chelsea Opera Group and The Phantom of the Opera, as well as many premieres of new work. In 2017, Helen produced the UK premiere of ‘The Juniper Tree’ by Philip Glass. She gave her first Ted Talk, ‘Tell me the truth about Opera’ at Cass Business School and she lectures on the history of opera for Cambridge University, Bishopsgate Institute, Imperial College and University College London. Helen’s book Singing Tips at your Fingertips is described by Gary Lachman (The Guardian) as ‘The place to find the singer within’. Her company Corporate Singing Workshops provides team-building projects for businesses and she is a freelance journalist reviewing opera.
