Alexandra Portmann is a theatre scholar and currently on postdoctoral fellowship at the Queen Mary University of London and Ludwig Maximilians Universität München founded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. As a researcher she is working on international theatre festivals, digital culture, contemporary theatre and Shakespeare in performance. Beside her academic work she works as a dramaturge and director.
