Katerina holds a doctorate in Comparative Literature from UCL, with a thesis on the reception of Sophocles’ Antigone in contemporary Ireland. Her academic background also includes studies in English and Theatre at the University of Athens, postgraduate work in Comparative Literature at the University of Edinburgh, and a Master’s in Digital Culture from the University of Piraeus. She loves theatre and the performing arts and has long been intrigued by the interrelation of culture, society, and politics, as well as the evolving presence of the arts and theatre in the digital world. She has taught, among other subjects, English and Drama in Greece and the UK, and is a Fulbright Scholar.
